Don Perlin, Co creator of Moon Knight and long running artist on the Defenders as well as Werewolf By Night, Ghost Rider, Beauty and the Beast teaming up Dazzler with the Beast among others has passed away at the age of 94 yesterday.

Perlin went on to work as a penciler and editor at Valiant after leaving Marvel in 199. His last published works were a 12 page story in DC Comics Scooby Doo #25 in 1999 and then returning to another character he co-created at Valian, Bloodshot to contribute to the Blood of the Machine hardcover in 2012.

He designed the suit. Out of the twenty best suits in Marvel comics his contribution is top five, easy.

Perlin did the artwork from one of my favorite short serialized stories featured in SOLO AVENGERS: The return of Moondragon.
I never realized that he had also created the artwork for the DEFENDERS tale that had killed her off years prior!
