HELL YEAH !!!! lol Diablo is my favorite game franchise. :)
I'm...interested to see what this game will be purely because I loved Diablo 1 and 2 so much. But I have little faith that modern day Blizzard is capable of delivering a game with any depth whatsoever.
I've already accepted the fact that D4 likely won't even be half the game Path of Exile is, but hopefully it's at least better than Diablo 3. We'll see.
I've loved them all. I played them all more than the last one, so I hope this isn't some dumb mobile game.

Diablo: Immortal will be the mobile game. So if nothing else, D4 will avoid that fate.

Yeah ... as long as DIV is not a mobile game ... I'll be happy.
Well, I'll admit that I'm a lot more interested in D4 than I expected to be. Looks like they're really leaning hard on D1 and D2. Not just in art style but bringing back runes/runewords and skill trees.
For all of it's faults, Diablo 3's gameplay was never the issue. Boring loot, lack of customization and the overall tone of the game being completely off for Diablo were the problems. Looks like they got the tone right, hopefully the customization and loot work out too.

What happened to the color and brightness of III?
Watched a bunch of streams on Twitch today. Druid looks crazy.

Back in WoW where it belongs, hopefully.

IV looks generic to me with all the grey.
I don't mind color popping all over the place in a game like Overwatch but for something like Diablo, I want it to look dreary.

Can't disagree. I also hope they don't label us a member of some convenient super race like the nephilim to explain away our ability to stomp demon ass. I'm a barbarian, damn it, not a saiyan!

In all fairness, the Nephalem thing goes back at least as far as Diablo 2. I think it does do a decent job of explaining why some people are able to stand up to demons (if all it took was some muscle and a sharp blade to take down a Prime Evil, the demons wouldn't be nearly as intimidating).
Diablo 3's problem was making the Nephalem so much stronger than everyone else that the story didn't even pretend like the demons posed a threat. But I do agree that, Nephalem or not, Diablo 2 level heroes work best. Clearly puts the heroes above normal people, but not to the extent that all tension is removed from the story.
I really enjoyed the look and tone of DIII, more than DII, but I am super pumped for DIV!!
Gameplay looks great. My only nitpick is the color palette is boring.
