Just curious, why is that?
Is it because in the Wolfman/Perez days, Wonder Girls's powers were closer to Silver Age Wonder Woman's -- and now that Wonder Woman has been upgraded -- so has Wonder Girl -- since she's supposed to be similarly-powered (at least by my account).
-
To me, Donna was a teen when she first appeared as Wonder Girl, then a late Teen when she first debuted her red outfit.
Today, Donna has grown into her powers (much like Marvel's Jean Grey). Donna is a Wonder Woman all her own!
-
At this point in Donna's story, she had been massively upgraded by the Titans of Myth, died and came back...what twice and I think (please correct me if I am wrong) that this particular story is written from the perspective of the John Byrne run in which she is who she is based on Wally's memories of her. Perhaps he saw her as stronger than she was and so she is now (at that time?)
-
I don't think it's ever been clearly stated how powerful Donna is. I assumed she was on part with Wonder Woman in the Bronze Age -- pretty much a young version of Wonder Woman. Others thought she was less powerful, but have no idea why. I'm going to say that she is not quite in Diana's league, but close to it.

I never saw this before. Thanks for posting it, Primal Slayer. I would have liked to have seen Donna and Artemis go at it!

Not often we get some good parallels

Yo, there's no way Diana had the time to learn how to play Injustice and actually beat Donna in the game. I'm betting she just mashed the buttons and somehow won! :p
Anyways, i was really happy with this issue. Liked all the scenes with the Wonder Girls.

Nothing beats gaming with your sister :p.

I flipped through the issue before reading anything and say Yara challenge with Bow and arrows, Cassie arm wrestled and then Donna was playing a video game with her? Reading it of course provided the context and it was perfect! Donna knew she probably would never beat Diana through any physical feat. That's perfect Donna reasoning. It's not perfect, but King is winning me over.

Heh - that's Diana's big weakness isn't it? Modern technology. She knows the basic stuff - like using a smartphone or the JLA teleporter. But she's definitely the sort who'd rather go to a gym or settle down with a good book or a newspaper than play video games!
