Penance was one of my favourite Gen Xers along with Chamber and Mondo. The entire team had such cool and unique powers.

I've always hoped there was a real Penance from Yugoslavia named Yvette who he fed on and was the basis for Emplate trapping the original Monet in that form.

I enjoyed Rosenberg's Astonishing far more than his Uncanny, especially ZomBanshee getting squished by a Sentinel.
