Halloween. Adults wearing physical masks over the unseen masks they wear in their daily lives. It is night where children are encouraged to get candy from strangers. It is also a time when the most innocent are the most vulnerable. While a reluctant ghost hero like Deadman is forced to eternally aid the living, Halloween is a chance for him right wrongs of his own scarred childhood. Kids dressed as the Trump, Harley Quinn, Pennywise and Deadpool are all popular choices this year. However, when you have a not-so friendly ghost possessing them in times of danger it takes the imagery to a new level. Kidnappers, killers and abusers beware as the Deadman possessed children break bones, knock out attackers and ein some cases apply specific forms of torture that is befitting the assault. The kids using words they've never used before and seeing things that are usually reserved for adult eyes only. However, when it's over they will have only faint memories of their adventures with the Deadman, but a lot of candy.

Jonah's led many a posse but never one quite like this! It seems the future is full of people with special abilities and even more special attitudes! Jonah's face fits even less in this time and place but the Head Sheriff in town, Batman, he doesn't seem to notice. He see's Jonah as a tool, something he can use which oddly enough seems just about right for Jonah. Lady Constantine is helping this Law Man with another tricky situation involving some witch or other whilst Jonah goes after Jack the Ripper and Mrs. Capone. These future lawmen keep forgetting to hide their sniggers when they look at the scarred and grizzled cowboy but it doesn't bother Jonah none. He's used to this and he's got his guns and they follow his orders, it's all he needs. Jonah finds himself going after more then Jack and his knifes though as Batman keeps finding other troublemakers for Jonah to bring in. He's got to admit he plays top dog well but how will he cope with the hangings when they start? All the top men have to make this call sooner or later, will the blood stain his soul or mind? Jonah might just be curious enough to stick around and find out.
