Do these people not know that there are other black female mutants besides Storm? Monet is right there, she's just bougie.
Wasn't Rogue's flirting only introduced in the 90s?

Rogue was only ever a flirt in the 90s cartoon because she was a "Southern Belle" caricature. That's not actually her personality in comics.

It's going to be weird to hear Drake use the n-word again..lolol.

That being said, I'm not really a fan of these rappers calling Drake "white" as some sort of pejorative. He has a black father and is allowed to embrace his black side. I come from a multiracial background and it's not uncommon for people from this sort of background to embrace one side or the other (or both).

That being said, the whole thing about Drake's "whiteness" is more about him being fake as opposed to being bi-racial. Also, Drake might want to tread carefully because Kendrick hinted at some unsavory things about Drake that a lot of people didn't know. Stuff that could be career damaging.

Bless J. Cole's heart lol. Mans was bein' called the smartest rapper alive yesterday.

Some babe on twitter said she's a J. Cole biracial and not a Drake biracial and I'm still laughin about that sht.

Exactly. Champagne is a Hip-Hop gentrifier. He can rap his ass off now but it is what it is and I guess it's good there's only the 1 of him. He ultra famous and in kind, he says weird **** all the time, that blackface photoshoot will never not be a fkn goofy, harmful look and Push did him like Sonny did Carlo in Godfather. Dot is weird dude too, at times too eclectic for my taste but also raps his mfkn ASS off. There's layers to that Euphoria, the hater bars are cold af. In the end both have been around damn near 20, nothing left to loose or gain really imo. It's sport and I dig it.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?

    Yeah, I'm enjoying this stuff.

A lot of stuff on Euphoria was interesting, as you said, the song is layered.

Honestly, Drake has become increasingly "weird" in the last few years. Some of it was "funny and cute" when he was younger but homie is almost 40 now, some of his antics look strange.

Drake dropping a track and Kendrick replying 10 minutes, is just...4-D Chess.

We have blown WELL past 'Hit 'em Up' and/or 'Ether' levels of disrespect on the records. 'Euphoia' didn't even have a chance to breathe yo.

My man said "sh!t is getting too real", fam we blew past that stop sign like brake failure. 'Meet the Grahams' is a reason to GO. Period. Some of that sht I don't even doubt in the song and still. I don't think... no, It's just NOT hyper-masculine to want altercation at this point. We as a culture win in the short term but lol, in a long view this is ugly. The subsequent records being bops is secondary or tertiary at best. This is fighting work.

When Jay and Nas peaced it up I was kinda offended cause they went so low. That was a watermark imo, and you right- nothing about this is ordinary. I don't think these two will ever peace up. You can't.

Yeah, things blew up completely here. Kendrick is moving like the boogeyman or something.

Drake's last response sounds like he's bowing out of the whole thing. I completely understand where he's coming from because people have started asking "serious" questions about Aubrey.

Also, I have to give Drake some credit, everyone has been jumping him but he's able to respond to some and even win up to this point.

Man... look. 2024 feels more like the future than anytime ever. Society has still not ever been able to put toothpaste BACK in the tube. Thoughts and prayers.

LOL...Ann Coulter gave to him straight (starts from the 2.00) and just like that a new meme is born. I thought no one could be worse than Tim Scott but Vivek is just awful. She's just speaking the mind of many conservatives; they can never vote any non-white person. Interestingly, Ann Coulter was getting her back blown out by Dinesh D'Souza who was another dark skinned Indian (that was racist against black people, one of the weirdest things I've seen considering that brother's skin color). I guess this is a wake-up call to a lot of Indians that are trying very hard to operate in white spaces. It's a waste of time.

I still don't know why some PoC are struggling to enter these conservative white spaces? These guys don't want anyone that isn't lily white rolling with them. Vivek's wife was also told to her face that GOP voters refused to vote for him because he was "too dark".

A lot of PoC come to the US and dunk on African-Americans to gain favor from white racists and feel good about themselves (completely forgetting that a lot of them are only in the US because of the civil rights movement spearheaded by African-Americans). What they fail to realize is that if you're not white, no amount of anti-black racism and bootlicking can get them ahead.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...mputer-comment

The governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, has rapidly backtracked on remarks she made on Monday after she came under a blizzard of criticism for saying that Black children in the Bronx did not know the word “computer”.

Hochul had intended her appearance at the Milken Institute Global Conference in California on Monday to showcase Empire AI, the $400m consortium she is leading to create an artificial intelligence computing center in upstate New York. Instead, she dug herself into a hole with an utterance she quickly regretted.

“Right now we have, you know, young Black kids growing up in the Bronx who don’t even know what the word ‘computer’ is,” she said. For good measure, she added: “They don’t know, they don’t know these things.”

The backlash was swift and piercing. Amanda Septimo, a member of the New York state assembly representing the south Bronx, called Hochul’s remarks “harmful, deeply misinformed and genuinely appalling”. She said on X that “repeating harmful stereotypes about one of our most underserved communities only perpetuates systems of abuse”.
Hochul's comments are right up there with some of the most racist things I've heard in my life.

Again, this is why a lot of black people are weary of both parties. There's nothing you will say that can convince people that Hochul isn't racist.

Without even exaggerating, I wouldn't even make that comment about kids in the least developed parts of the planet talk much less about New York.
