These are the books you should be checking out, in my opinion, meaning these are some of my favorites...

    1. Invincible- Easily the best story out there. You want an action drama? Lots of gore and comedy with some of the best art and writing out there. This is a superhero comic unlike any other. It's not Superman or any other big 2 hero who fights their villains in a rotation. Invincible is about a kid who has powers (strength, speed, [near] inulnerability [he gets his ass kicked a lot, too]) and you get to see him grow up from a goofy teenager to now a dad. His villains have great back stories and the character development is outstanding throughout. If I could only buy 1 comic book, it would be Invincible.
You clearly have great taste. Really echos my feelings on my all time favorite comic series.

I really love that one too. Have you read "My Heroes Have Always Been Junkies" by Ed Brubaker. That's probably one of my favorite Image comics. Feels kind of like a Scorsese film.

Ok I’m growing tired of Marvel and DC so I’m doing an image dive to get excited about comics again.

Here is what I’ve tried so far:
Invincible ultimate collection 1- LOVED IT! Will continue.
Gideon Falls Vol 1- wouldn’t say I loved it but damn I’m intrigued and want to know what happens next.
Fire Power- Really enjoyed! Think I will continue.

I have Descender Vol 1 and Something is Killing The Children vol 1 coming this week.

What else should I check out?

If someone told me "I've never read comics before but want to get into them, where should I start?", Saga would probably be my #1 recommendation for most people, unless they specifically wanted superheroes.

I'll put in my votes for Sex Criminals, The Wicked and the Divine, Die, and Ice Cream Man as well. And based on the stunning first issue, the new 4-issue wordless-fantasy mini Step by Bloody Step looks like it may be a classic, too.

I just started reading Nocterra and I'm into it! I also just got into RAIN as well and enjoying that book too. After not reading comics in about 3 years I'm diving head first into a lot of different series. I have the first 2 trades of Thief of Thieves that's pretty interesting as well.

First post here, thought I would spend it on my favourite comic company out there! Many of these titles are already in this thread.

    List:
    - Black Science (Remender/Scalera)
    - Saga (Brian K. Vaughan/Fiona Staples)
    - Low (Remender/Tocchini)
    - Fear agent (Remender/Moore/Opeña) notice: I know Fear agent's copyright are owned nowadays by Dark Horse comics, but it was initially published by Image and Remender is mostly a Image's writer
    - Outcast (Kirkman/Azaceta) - BUY IT IF YOU LIKE HORROR/EXORCISM STORIES
    - Deadly Class (Remender/Craig)
    - Descender (Lemire/Nguyen)

As you guys can see, I'm a die-hard Remender's fan, really appreciate his long runs stories, when he has time to give characters lot of aspects and personality, involving them in bigger tramas than I've ever seen before.

Hope you guys have a nice read! See you soon.

I've been reading mostly Image titles recently: Black Road, The Goddamned, and Moonshine. I'm currently working my way through Fatale and I'm wondering what I should collect next?

Non Image titles I've enjoyed include Scalped and Unknown Soldier. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Manifest Destiny
    Monstress
    East of West
    Lazarus
    Birthright
Kill or Be Killed (same writer as Fatale)

I’d recommend Thief of Thieves for those who like a good heist caper with a fair bit of violence.

I've been so out of the loop comic wise for a while. What are the best Image Comics that have started since the beginning of last year? I'm looking for some new things to read.
