I forgot that Rollins was going to be on SVU otherwise I would have watched it. I guess I'll catch it in reruns.

I though OC was really good but I kind of wish the reveal with Joey was more mundane. Having him spoilers:

connected to the big bad is going into the super-villain/action movie territory of the earlier seasons

Law & Order: Criminal Intent asked the question "What if Sherlock Holmes worked for the NYPD?"

It wasn't until the Richard Wheatley dinner scene with his ex wife and the crazy hacker that I realized, Law & Order: Organized Crime asks the question "What if James Bond worked for the NYPD?" So yes, we will go into super-villain territory, often enough to notice but not too often I don't think. Under this showrunner, he seems to know what he's doing.
