I couldn't be happier to join @Williamson_Josh and @RafaSandoval75 on this epic adventure! I mean, if you ask me what are my favorite things to draw this book has got it all, and Joshua & Rafa's story is just all kinds of AMAZING!
Ah I guess he is just drawing the backups/the Kon & Kara portions to help Sandoval out. Fine with me, Mendonca is great.

While the concept of Absolute Power is pretty tired (basically OMAC Project part 2 and every X Men storyline featuring the Sentinels) at least the art will be nice to look at.

I'm hoping that with Waid writing it, it will at least be a fun action movie plot. Like nothing spectacular but hopefully entertaining and all the character's decently written (and for the Wonder Woman fans to not get all up in arms about Waid again ).

Plus the possibility of Waller finally getting comeuppance, really hoping for that.

I'm reminded how the solicit for the final issue of his Justice League run says that the it won an Eisner when it didn't.

After the traumatic events of Absolute Power #2, Superman and Zatanna trek into the darkest areas of the DC Universe to find a way to stop Waller and her growing army. Powerless and without magic, are they willing to make a deal with a devil to save the world?
Hmm could they be going to the Phantom Zone perhaps? Otherwise it will be a magical realm but I don’t know what would fit.

Nope I don’t think so. Glad the Annual got recognized, I thought it was a fantastic issue.
