Sero has a nice little moment, basically being a meta take on him just being someone without a tragic backstory like Shoto, and how he feels about that. We also get the confirmation that Deku doesn't have OFA in his body anymore besides the embers, which leads to the question of whether he is going to get it back somehow, or if that really is it.

Lots to love in this chapter. The epic assembly of wounded heroes is great as expected. And I always like it when somebody points that "No, heroes don't need tragic back stories to be heroes. Those honestly sound like a hassle.". And it's fun that Sero got that role.

IIRC Iida and his engine was especially banged up. So he might need some time to recover. Hopefully that means he'll get a big moment rushing in to help out. He deserves it. It would be nice if he and Ochako got to be the last two people that came in and helped out. Seeing as they're Deku's true first friends.

Given that Horikoshi's original plan was to have Deku gives OFA to Bakugo, based on comments regarding the second movie, I think it's always been his plan for Deku to loose his quirk in the end. So I suspect that he'll end up being quirkless again by the end of this fight.

I still think we have at least one more dip into the inner world before smashing AFO. Shiggy needs one last act of defiance.

New episode! We get a few more scenes with Star and her squad, and get through about half her fight with Shigaraki. So far so good. It'll be interesting to see how the anime handles spoilers:
her death, since it's a bit controversial.

    And new opening.

Not my favourite song but I like a lot of the visuals. Especially Dabi lighting up his fire so that we can see little Toya who's in pain, and the sequence where the class helps Deku move through a burning city.

    And the latest ED.

I really like how it creates a contrasts between the villains' and heroes' pasts.

Really like the song for the opening, and I think this opening handles the "standing around" issue some of the other openings have the best by having the shots be so dynamic and look really good. And then the actual motion parts are great too. Ending is also pretty good, including alot of very interesting foreshadowing.

    spoilers:
AFO unleashes the full might of his combined quirks. Unloading countless attacks on his opponents. With the pro heroes and his classmates dealing with all the attacks, Deku runs towards the enemy. Across the whole world everybody sees and cheers the hero Deku on. On the last page, Deku lands a massive blow against All For One.

    spoilers:
A simple but effective chapter. Seeing everybody help Deku so that can concentrate on running forward was great. Same with so many characters making cameos to cheer our boy on. He's finally getting the respect he deserves. And tying it all back to the day Ochako turned a childhood insult into something positive is a great touch.

I also found AFO musing interesting. That Deku's ability to overcome his apparent weakness is something that All Might lacked, and that is what inspires those around them. It's a great way to further push back against those that call Deku a bad character because he started out quite weak. And AFO being kinda confused about it is amusing.

And it seems unlikely that Ochako will be able to participate at all in this final final battle. Which is a bit annoying on the one hand, due to her missing out big roles in other important battles. But I appreciate the consistency in her injuries being that severe. Hopefully Bakugo will also stay out of this. Leave most of the support work to the rest of the supporting cast.

I doubt this is how AFO is defeated. But this is a great start. Still hoping the injured LoV can show up to jump him to save Shigaraki.

The chapter reminds me again of Endgame where A-Force help carol and the gauntlet.

I'm suspecting given that Deku has embers of OFA, that he will use it to re-enter the mindscape and help Tomura. Alos Bakugo will sit this out, he's too badly injured and he already took out AFO, so it's Deku's turn

Always get a kick at these moments when all the characters come together to support someone, tanking and repelling the hits to help him keep running. I really have to wonder if the Season 7 opening creators knew that this was happening, since that running bit is eerily similar.

It is interesting to me how this chapter includes an appearance from every 1-A student, even cutting away to Tokoyami and Ochaco who are off somewhere else, but NOT Bakugo. Either because he already got his "Do your best/give em hell" moment, or he's gonna make another surprise appearance in the fight. I'd buy either one.

Shigaraki's body also is starting to bleed and crack, so hopefully this means we're going to see him starting to re-surface again next.

Re:the League, we do see Dabi being carted away with his siblings last chapter. Toga is still MIA, no idea if she's on the copter with Ochaco or not. Spinner is also still missing, and Kurogiri also looks like he's starting to give over too, so we probably won't get a big moment with all of them here, but I'm hoping them all still get paid off.

I can see that. Though this feels more natural and less forced than the Endgame scene. And Deku actually needed help to get this far.

Totally also expecting one last mind scene. And don't count out Bakugo just yet. He's a shounen dude, they can pop up anywhere despite their injuries.

I was wondering that too. It might just be a just be a neat coincidence. But it could also be that one of the anime staff knew something like this was coming and thought it was too cool of a motif to not include in the OP.

If Bakugo shows up again I hope he's more that he's limping onto the scene to shout encouragement rather than to actually do anything actiony. Again, since Ochako clearly won't be participating in the rest of the action I'd be annoyed if Bakugo gets to ignore his injuries and fight on.

Hopefully Shigaraki's memories of them can at least provide support.
