It feels wrong seeing actual Planetary characters in this book.
As spoilers:end of spoilers
much as I am down for a reminder that Barry should be sent back to the grave with as little dignity as possible, the version of Wildstorm where planetary took place was destroyed by Captain Atom half a decade before Flashpoint, so why is this one being blamed on Flash instead?
Yeah, I have to agree.
They have written themselves into a bit of a corner by trying to force Planetary more "in line" with the old WildStorm universe, rather than having it comfortably just off to the side. That leaving them to ignore what is almost the last 4 years of stories as that led to Worlds End an all those post apocalypse stories.
There is no way that any of that reset & then actual apocalypse level events would fit in their "things are going great oh no looks it's the Flash" story they are giving.
That aside I did enjoy the Jakita character study, though it's an interesting take on her nature and how it would "evolve" over time/relate to the events going on.
Ok let me no-prize this.
Since all the reboots retroactively change characters pasts, captain atom never went to the wild storm universe and never destroyed it.
Chronologically, this wild storm universe was destroyed around the of vol 1 of the authority, judging by Drummers comments about them killing God
Kate really wants no part of this team.
Issue was entertaining enough, not much else to say, just backstory. The Final Knight appeared again, which is good for Duke fans.
