Oooh interesting. So his death is maintained, but he's able to cut through the rage of his altered form due to the time looping. Very cool theory.

Gambit. Rogue. Repeat.
Thanks Purp and Nox, I'd be glad if even 10% of this stuff would happen...but a lot of wishful thinking. I know Mystique is supposed be around, and I do think she's that mysterious woman at Remy's funeral. I'll see if I can throw her into a theory, it'll involve Rogue and Nightcrawler, but possibly Gambit as well.
I like this, if they were to do Deathbit, I'd rather it be earned, a nice build-up through the second season. Rather than suddenly.
Definitely possible re: Gambit being revived, but having a latent death persona that comes out later.

Gambit. Rogue. Repeat.
Exactly that. They can easily adapt their dialogue in that scene to Rogue and Gambit's character arcs (heroic sacrifice/wanting more). Lenore's quote was from Rogue after that scene and Lenore would have read it if she wanted to get a feel for it for her voice work.
Before Time Loop was in play, I was figuring Jean was going to tap into the Phoenix Force to save Gold Team and defeat Sinister and Bastion. The Phoenix has been in the intro on/off all season and we know Beau loves him some Jean. Now that Time Loop is in play, Jean is probably dead and Cable is the only one left from Gold Team. It's too late for Blue Team to save them and they are probably all going to get wiped out as well. Magneto is, most likely, mortally wounded and all Xavier has to do is take the helmet off and shut him down. Magneto is either going to kill everyone or, in a more desperate move, hurl Asteroid M towards Earth before he bleeds out. That could explain the globe in Xavier's vision. Cable will jump back into the past when it's clear they lost.
Cable now has the knowledge to change everything post Genosha. Cable will rally the X-Men and get to Genosha when the battle is over. This would allow Jean to help Rogue save Gambit (like in Xtreme). They can either save Magneto before Bastion gets a hold of him or before Val sets him free. Now they will have the entire team to take down Sinister and Bastion. This will also open the door for Rogue to punch Bastion through his face for what he did to Genosha and Gambit.
Unfortunately the Gala will be off the table for Romy, though maybe there will be some dancing on their first date at the end of the season. Meanwhile, Magneto will form the Acolytes for a proper Fatal Attraction/Onslaught arc in S2.

I saw others speculating that Wolverine may be War (his war quote prior to the Mags stab, he became a horseman post his metal being ripped out, and Jean kept Wolverine alive in the first place after his metal ripped out — she ain’t on the asteroid this time) and Maddie as Pestilence (really just based on the plague of rats in her vision), like maybe the horsemen are brought on in a latent sense from the Phoenix pulling them out from death? They’re alive again but… wrong (but not too terribly obvious right off the bat). And then Apocalypse takes advantage of that in season 2.
That leaves out Famine which a quick Wikipedia article read through implies they originally rocked a scale to weigh wheat with that would never be enough for the working class to get a decent meal. But very specifically Famine states to never raise the cost of wine or oil (luxuries for the rich). Sounds kinda like someone who’d charge $10 an apple in a brand new nation *shrug*
As for our Star Trek homework, someone asked Beau directly if this means we’re getting time loops and he responded ‘not necessarily.’ Someone else pointed out ‘They were playing poker in that episode, someone warning them with cards about a time loop...’ and Beau said to keep thinking & digging and You’re doing good. C’mon Queen of Hearts! Do a thing!

Thanks for sharing. Very insightful read and I feel like the evidence about the poker game and there being more to that with the Queen of Hearts suggests we'll see something like this, or a variation anyway, occur. This way his death will not be invalidated but won't be permanent either.
And like you said in your other post, the lack of Mystique makes me feel she'll be involved as well. She's too major a character to be missing this whole season which has so heavily featured Rogue and Kurt and their reunion. No one clarifying who the mystery woman was at the funeral also seems to suggest it's a spoiler.
Gambit (Death), Maddie (Pestilence), Calisto (Famine), and Wolverine (War). That's my latest guess. Not a bad line-up if it happens. If they write it well, it could be a great story.
I haven't seen that Star Trek episode (not my thing), so I'll opt out of any theories...
Gambit. Rogue. Repeat.
I think Beau was being coy about a Dazzler resurrection. So I'd throw her into the mix...
Beau posted a zipper mouth emoji when asked about Mystique this season.
It might be Cable communicating with Gambit through the Astral Plane? Which might be what Chris Potter was talking about? Now it looks like playing cards are involved in this and surely if Gambit is trying to communicate, Rogue would need to be involved.
Rogue is mystery to me, I can't predict where she's going because she changes her mind 2-3 times an episode. At the moment she's in Asteroid M fighting AGAINST the X-Men, but we're at the climax of that battle assuming that Magneto gets taken down by Xavier (or maybe by Rogue herself). We know she's out to avenge Remy this season, in doing so, she needs to return to Earth.

Right, Dazzler. I keep forgetting her. Maybe Famine? I don't know. Callisto would make more sense in a poetic way, but Dazzler is more popular.
Once Rogue sees what Mags did to Logan, I would be surprised if she didn't switch back to siding with the X-Men. I see Rogue as being a free agent in this series, she's not really committed to anything unless it suits her end game, but seeing Logan (her friend) tortured like that is crossing a line.
Gambit. Rogue. Repeat.
Soooo what if the Queen of Hearts ends up not being burnt up but instead at the very least ends up in his trench coat pocket? We get a repeat of most post-episode 5 staying kinda the same but instead of Rogue joining Magneto, she finds the card, decides not to abandon the X-Men and then insists on joining the Gold Team on their mission to stomp out Bastion - like she was originally hot to in episode 7. Could keep in line with her VA insisting Rogue won’t stop until she avenges Gambit which we were all like ‘the fuck is she gonna do that by joining Magneto?’ She’s then there to change course of the gold fight. And perhaps Jean & Cable still have their fight and she still goes Phoenix but Rogue is now around should the white hot room open up and drag Gambit’s cajun ass back to the land of the living.
IDK, spit balling

Just noticed...
Nightcralwer: "It does not take a priest to see you and Rogue's souls touch in every gaze"
Lenore keeps calling Rogue and Gambit soulmates in interviews. She also quoted a line from Rogue in X-Treme X-Men #18 where Rogue saves Gambit from death in the astral plane. This was the line Lenore quoted...
“We’re X men. What defines us is hope. That's why we don't give up. That's why, no matter the odds, we find a way to win.” - Rogue (XTreme X-Men)
