They basically stole Scott's background for Logan....

Honestly, it makes me slightly apprehensive for Insomniac's Scott, whenever that may be. Well, if there is one at all. Regardless, hopefully it all turns out well.

May this year give us better stories and a better portrayal of Cyclops and we have more to talk about here than just counting his cameos as it have been for the past 4 years.

I always thought X-Men 138 was Cyclops greatest moment.
Cyclops had devoted most of his teens and all his young adult life fighting for a dream. He had honed his abilities and toned his body and mind into being the perfect strategist that Xavier needed. A soldier in Xavier’s dream of humans and mutants cohabiting in peace.
The only sense of normalcy that Scott had was his love that he had for Jean. In 137,Scott had that taken away from him.
I think at that moment Scott realized that there had to be more to his life than Xavier’s dream and walked away.
Hopefully to recover from his grief and to try to find meaning beyond the X-Men……

Of course it only lasted half a year but it was good at the time.

It's such shit writing, Logan has no business having any kind of romantic relationship with Jean, he's just a random that got that far because of Claremont's tantrum, there's no reason for it, just pure misogyny and childish pettiness, if Logan wasn't available he would've written Jean being attracted to Kurt or anyone else because this doesn't make any sense and it was just a decision made out of spite for Scott.
