I'm playing X-Men Legends II on pc now. Man Cyclops is a force to be reckoned with here.

I loved the above version. Really fit into the Jedi - Scott look.
Sadly they made / used another version (I think they were afraid it was too much Jedi and risked being sued, not sure though).

The other criticism was that artist In-Hyuk Lee reference of East Asian garments was questionable appropriation for Scott as a character.

Teen Cyclops in ANXM had a few variants of the hair out look. Which is the only time it works for me. It hate the Jim Lee look.

Actually, I always thought he looked older in that costume. It may have just been the pencilers that bulked up his physique and there was more crosshatching in those days which made them look older and battle weary to me. Anyway, it is one of my fave looks for me. I know many people hate Jim Lee's designs.

To me the second criticism is pretty weak, largely due to who the artist was.

What I wa hoping for the new X-Men series was another Extinction team. This whole mutant police/militia makes no sense imo.

We had two years of what, Scott and Jean leading a team elected by the Krakoans to go save cats from trees and whatever lmao, the bar is so low that I wouldn't have complained about Mackay's series but I just wish we could see more dangerous and menacing threats
