So the thing that bothered me about Vixen NYC was how slow the story progressed. The writer was also not very creative with her abilities. I was like oh this is just another by the numbers story. The stories had no flare and was boring.

Another minor thing that bother me was her costume. The top looked great but below the waist, it was horrible. I didn't see why you would give her short when the top amazing.

Yeah, the Vixen: NYC plot(s) just dragged on and on for me. I stopped reading after a while. One of the other things that bothered me about the series was that I saw zero mentions of Zambesi. To me, that's like having a series about T'Challa the Black Panther but never mentioning or referencing Wakanda.

I also got tired of seeing Grace Choi in a book about VIXEN. Bumblebee always being there I could halfway understand since she is/was Vixen's college roommate.

Plus, I'm more interested in stories about Vixen the Animal MASTER, not Vixen the Rookie.

Agree 100. I don't know why writers seem to have a hard time writing Vixen's mythology. I also wish writers would expand their knowledgeable on animals. Hell, YouTube is a great source for this.

I think the only good thing was Anasi was interesting.

If Lupita Nyongo's tenure at Marvel is mostly done, maybe she can play Vixen in some projects at DC.
