It is a slight retcon, but one they could make. Her father actually started work in 19 BBY and Bad Batch is 18 BBY. The beginning of Rogue One was him being forced to return. However, it was implied he didn't rename it until after that moment because he wanted his daughter to be able to find it, which would be after he discovered its true purpose and tried to leave it.

Honestly maybe I'm so numb to references I didn't even second guess it...

Kinda disappointed. I was hoping for a wider clone rebellion.

In Rebels, it seemed like the clones forced the Empire into a truce. I can see how the information from Tantiss might have forced that on the Empire, but it's kinda underwhelming.

Has Disney explained why we only got 3 seasons?

I would just presume that the entirety of the Deathstar intel was held under that name. They had to give the project a name, and Stardust would sound harmless to anyone else.

Not really sure what they could do at this point other than maybe a "Tale of the Clones" featuring her time with the Rebellion.

It just seems too big to go out that way. A clone Jedi just feels like too much of a loose end to let hang there

She's not really a Jedi though, she just had a physiology that was more conducive towards transferring M-Count between bodies.

I wonder if people are going to be poring over old films trying to spot a frame with a blonde pilot... (like Rex being on Endor) We'll probably see at least one click-baity image.

The Death Star was also given the name Project Celestial Power, although I think that was mainly for the superlaser/kyber stuff, under the cover of using Kyber as a renewable power source, while "Stardust" was the overall project (The battle station itself).

I think according to the tie-in novel it's what Galen assumed he was doing before digging a bit deeper.

"We need to focus all this renewable energy into a giant laser."

    Galen: Okay, that sounds legit.

In the novel, one of the things that wakens Galen up that this might be not used for good purposes is that one of the Crystal experiments malfunctions destroying a city.

I think it was a fine ending.

On the coda where Omega goes off to join the rebellion. People are assuming she is part of the Death Star battle in ANH. But we don't know when this is. Perhaps she went to fight in the final assault in TLJ? Maybe she was on Hoth when they all escaped.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Not a bad ending, but far too soon, IMO.

I wanted to see more of the Clone Uprising.

Hell, I'd settle for the Bad Batch actually scoring a legit win over a named character
