    Not feeling that line-up.

Kate Bishop makes an appearance in issue 14 of Avengers this week. She doesn't do much yet, but it's cool to see her on a big league Avenger team with Steve Rogers of all people. She's a grown adult now age wise so there should never be a issue with her joining a team age-wise anymore.

She's not even the youngest member on the lineup - that'd be Hazmat, who's still a teenager.

She just felt way less sassy and more serious. I don't think Mackay had the best handle on her voice.

Sadly I agree, she was just generic. The same dialogue could've come from Clint, or from anyone in DC's Arrow Family.

It could be because the current Avengers run is so heavily focused on action with little downtime of the Avengers interacting with one another that we don't get to see Kate's sassiness. With that said I agree she's more generic in this Avengers group. Kate is a leader type character of her generation and when she's not she falls to the background. Many of her young quips might go over Cap, Hercules, and Quicksilver's heads. Which in itself would be entertaining. I'm not saying she can't work with older characters but I think her in a group of mostly adults changes her dynamic and interactions.

Also she and Hazmat kind of overlap in terms of their speaking style even if Hazmat is more cynical and sardonic.
