The last two-three years really soured me. That's just how I feel going forward with the X-franchise as a whole.
I will read X-Force and the Storm solo (only if...IF...the creatives are top-tier...I don't want to read Storm by some fledgling writer new to comic books or drawn by some gawdawful brand new, "up and coming" artist who can't draw a face or proper anatomy) but I'm really not going to invest as much time and emotional energy in the new era (as I did at the start of the Krakoa Era)...like I said, fool me once, fool me never again.
It's easy for me to make that decision to walk away from the XM because I read and enjoy other books from all the publishers so I'm never starving for sustenance.
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
I was just checking out the X-Men Forever previews and that Apcolypse mini.
I would love for Luca Maresca or Netho Diaz to rotate or be given arcs on this title so it can have as many issues as Uncanny and X-Men.
Plus we'll get to see more art from differnt artists.
My knowledge of Wade is only from Cable&Deadpool. And Uncanny X-Force of course. C&D made me love him, but I never followed him post C&D. So take this with a grain of salt and as a personal opinion: I think in UXF he was well balanced between dangerous and "clown" moments (and also loyal to his team mates!), but didn't lean much on the latter - which, I think, is what makes the character hated to most of the readers.
"I know who I am. I'm a warrior.
Bad things happen in battle. Warriors get hard. It comes with the territory."
Claremont confirmed that??
