Vs implies conflict. The article says it's based on the 1980s Marvel comic which was called Gi Joe and the Transformers

Remember...hell, who was it that was going to have a cinematic monster verse thing....or that one two page spread that had Channing Tatum sitting there as they talked about his Gambit movie, was it a whole Fox X-Men related article....I can't recall.....projects get greenlit all the time and this while I would like to see it, I will believe it when I do see it.

They literally established and set it up at the end of the last Transformers. But I get what you're saying.
