Hi all,

I’m trying to think at the moment who each x-man’s mentor and mentee is. So for the main x-men so far I can think of

Charles - well, everyone really
Emma - stepford cuckoos and M
Cyclops - Dani and Magik
Wolverine - Wolverine

Are there any others you can think of? Or maybe some mentor relationships you would like to see?

As much as they've been trying to sell it in recent years, Logan was never Laura's mentor; he was more like the divorced parent who showed up on birthdays.

Well said! Thanks for bringing that up. I always thought if you look at Lorna’s history, you can almost suspect that she had a subconscious view of Magneto’s vision before she became his apprentice during Dark Seduction. It makes sense she wanted to believe Xavier’s dream but her past trauma and experience led her right to Mags. I also still believe that Charles should have taken better care of her but that’s not really what transpired. Sure he helped her a few times but maybe he sensed she was Erik’s daughter and for whatever reason left her to her own path maybe?

No offense but I didn't care for this. They made Sam some unconfident screw up and newb. 'Ah stink." They had him hiding in the trees over Prof. X. I mean he was in X-Force and he grew as far back as New Mutants as well. He came a long way from the kid who Nightcrawler used to Mentor.
