X-men and mentorship

No offense but I didn't care for this. They made Sam some unconfident screw up and newb. 'Ah stink." They had him hiding in the trees over Prof. X. I mean he was in X-Force and he grew as far back as New Mutants as well. He came a long way from the kid who Nightcrawler used to Mentor.

What's worse is the whole team seemed to get that treatment when Pete Wisdom took over X-Force.

I would love to see MEGGAN mentor Sofia as well.

This always left me wanting specifics! Don't believe they were ever together on panel much at all.
I know Rahne did freak out at Nightcralwer one time in the Danger Room. And there was a few scenes with the X-Men training with Sam.

Also cool was in X-Men Red I think it was when Roberto was with both Cable and Magneto and refereed to at least one(if not both) as Headmaster.

The Cannonball and Wolverine partnership was fun IMO. It's funny how Sam went from one hardcase in Cable to another with Logan.
