The Man here is screwed. The Ghoul is pretty superhuman, has somewhat better kit and has a healing factor. The Man doesn't have any way to keep him off RadX for long enough to die/go feral.

Apparently he's tagged as an essential character, so the Man would needs some cheeky glitches or finishing the Ghoul's quests to get rid of him.
