The Mel Blanc ones aren't entirely accurate. I'm finding it difficult to nail down his final appearances as each character.

Alan Hale plays Little John in Douglas Fairbanks's Robin Hood (1922) and went on to play him again in Rogues of Sherwood Forest, released by Columbia in 1950, a 28-year span.

Alan Hale also plays the same character (Little John) in Errol Flynn's The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938).

Think some anime (original Japanese, usually, although some dub actors stick around) has had long-running voice actors.

Tōru Furuya and Shūichi Ikeda have been doing Amuro and Char in Gundam for nearly 50 years.

I have always had a doubt about time perspective with actors playing the same characters for years.

For example, technically , Tom Welling played Clark Kent (10 years for a 23 episodes per season series) for more time than Harrison Ford has played Indiana Jones (5 movies), right? Doesn't tv actors deserve acknowledgement? Even if time management is different.

Yes, so soap opera actors have put in more hours than anyone, and that could be its own list. But there's also something really fascinating about someone coming back to a role after decades and having it still be a part of their life, which is why I made this list.

James Arness played Marshall Matt Dillon in the television series "Gunsmoke" from 1955-1975 and then reprised the role in 5 television movies, the last in 1993. So that's 38 years from first to last time he played the character.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaft_(franchise)

Richard Roundtree played John Shaft for the first time in 1970 and for the last time, so far, in 2019. so, that's 49 years.

Roundtree passed away last year. So there is no "so far" anymore. But that is a good catch.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I need Bob Newhart to reprise his role of Dr Hartley one more time to be on this list.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Quoting this again in light of #1, because it's all the more obvious how little she has played the role in comparison to so many who have put in so many hours.

Not only is it the longest span an actor has ever played a role for, it's also by far the longest interval between playing the character, as she only did so in two projects. And yes, the second time was extremely brief.

I think you are missing Adam West and Julie Newmar who returned together with Burt Ward to their roles as Batman and Catwoman for the animated movies "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" (2016) and "Batman vs. Two-Face" (2017).
