Default Your top three Spider-Man live action costumes.

I've always had an interest in how the hero looks. Be interesting to see which you prefer. See where there's consensus and disagreements. Here's mine:

    Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). My #1 Spider-Man suit.

Captain America: Civil War (2016) behind the scenes. Really wish this was the final version instead of the one that was used.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). Awful film. Great Spidey suit.

    Honourable mention to the traditional red and blue from Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007).

ASM 2 is hard to beat! That was an incredible live action suit!

This is going to sound silly but...

IMO, the 3 best live action suits were probably:

    ELECTRIC COMPANY SPIDER-MAN
    electric-company.jpg

The SPIDER-MAN ATARI VIDEO GAME AD suit from the commercials.
    hqdefault.jpg

And the 90's REGISTER TO VOTE PSA AD... that one might be the best one ever! ;-)

Special mentions to the 70's live action suit with it's outside the suit web-shooter and utility belt, and those wonderfully wonky eyes.
And to the live action Japanese TV Spider-Man!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume is almost perfect. It's a little too shiny for me. But other than that, I love it.

This one is nice - Spider-Man's wedding at Shea Stadium, with Stan Lee presiding. Although Cap, Hulk, Silver Surfer and ... Jean Grey? look more than a little rough. Hulk reminds me of if Ernest Borgnine became the Hulk.

I want to see a full film with the No Way Home perfect costume.

Before that, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume was best. And we got to see it in a good movie with No Way Home, right?

In third place, I'd go with the alien costume from Spider-Man 3. I don't mind the raised webbing on the red and blue, but that looked really cool in black. Shame the movie wasn't on that level.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

    Raimi and ASM2.

I need to see more of that Final Swing suit in NWH.

I just read an article while looking for the images for my post that the NWH script says that the final suit was inspired, in-universe, by Tobey and Andrew's suits!

Thanks! Guess Firestar was more popular then.

Can't see past this one at all. I think it's partly nostalgia talking but it is a really nice look that has aged incredibly well.

The ASM2 suit runs it pretty close but it's a little bit too glossy and I'm not a fan of the perforated style on the blue bits of the costume.

Spider-man and his Amazing Friends was the cartoon of its day. Iceman and Firestar - Firestar was created for the cartoon first - rented rooms from Aunt May and formed a team with Peter. Firestar's secret identity notoriously looked just like and had the same personality as Mary Jane; to the point that a lot of people's first reaction on seeing Mary Jane in the comics was to wonder why Firestar didn't seem to have any powers.
