Pyro was a character I always wanted to see more of but Duggan made me realize that there is no truer statement than "Be careful what you wish for" . smh

Honestly, I rather see the return of Pyro II, Simon Lakser, as the New X-Factor team could use a gay character in my opinion.

And Simon's story is still pretty much an open book.

The last time I remember seeing Pyro (and Avalanche) was during the X-Corps storyline written by Joe Casey who created the idea. A lot of people did not like Joe Caseys run at the time but that was when it was getting good. (The leader was a militant Banshee) I left not long afterwards, after the CC and Davis X.S.E days because I didn't like the new direction. I'm really not that up to date.

I always like Pyro. I don't like the Resurrection protocols but I'll give them a thumbs up for Pyro even though his death by Legecy Virus was a good one. I hope we see St John's thoughts especially of Krakoa and being used by the Goverment

Original Pyro may still be a gay character -- he was originally intended to be, after all, and his love life has never really been explored on-panel as of yet.

That said, I do agree that more could be done with Simon...who needs a new code name now that St. John is back as the primary Pyro.
