I didn't read World's end and i dropped Earth-2 originally when Tom Taylor left it. I felt issue 1 provides well enough back information that you're required and introduces the pre-existing cast of characters alongside focusing on Dick Grayson on 1st issue. YOu most definitely don't need to read the issues that came before for Earth 2: Society.

I really enjoyed issue 1. If Terry Sloan is their Vril Dox (they need him even though they hate him) or just the E2 Lex Luthor I'm in. I always enjoy a smart enemy for my heroes. I think this book could have a whole earth two politics theme that could be cool.
