1942. His name is Abin Sur. He is the Green Lantern of 2814. Before Hal, Guy, John and Kyle he was our Green Lantern and no evil escaped his sight. However, he was commanded by the Guardians to not interfere with World War II. For the first time since he became a GL he rebels against the Oans. Leveling endless Nazi tanks with just sheer will power, he finds others like him yet very different. Wonder Woman, Sgt. Rock, Icon, Johnny Quick, Tarzan, Bullet Man, Bullet Girl and the Haunted Tank can aid the Allies' soldiers who are surrounded by endless enemies. Abin Sur destroys booby traps, airstrikes and missile assaults. However, when the gigantic rolling metal weapons of mass destruction called War Wheels arrive it's instant death to all that is in their way! GL has to make a split-second decision to either save the injured Bullet Man or Bullet Girl! Whichever of the duo dies their lives not life flashes before their eyes and it leads all the way back to where it began for the duo...ancient Egypt and a region under rule of Prince Khofu!?! He's willing to confront Queen Hippolyta and an army of angry Amazons...he wants her, the greatest warrior of them all, forged and powered by gods...Diana. He must convince her to come with him to "man's world" and make a true difference. Although they have instant connection, Diana is compelled to fight the the invader who wants to take her to another world. However, the bigger threat to both of them are the gods themselves as the Aphrodite, Hermes, Artemis, Zeus and the most destructive the god of war, Ares. They want to destroy this interloper and they will not allow Diana to leave Paradise Island. This leads to an epic battle in which Clark and Diana will never be the same. A epic and destructive fight that will change the world, slay a cadre of gods and lead to the creation of Wonder Woman! However Supes is not done yet, he needs a Justice League and if he has to change history to make it happen...that's what he will do. In his century on his adopted world he's only went back in time once and he vowed never again...until now.
