Not really a fighting game guy, but I'll give it a spin.

Alright, first up, we're going to need a set amount of playable characters. I'll go with 66 (more info on the number later). Now, we need to break the characters into factions. The easiest thing to do would be to split them between heroes and villains, but that's boring. So, I'll go with: X-Men, Spider-Verse, Avengers, Cosmic, Supernatural, Misc. Let's go with 10 characters per section (a bit much, but eh, it's a wish-list). I'll also add 5 Alt-Costumes for each character.

Gameplay

Namco 3d fighter with some 2d fighter aspects like super moves and super finishers

Breakable environments.

A system to earn currency to purchase different costumes, characters, maybe even moves for a character. All that good extra stuff.

Stages in familiar Marvel locations: New York with familiar buildings like the Daily Bugle in the background, The Danger room, Baxter Building, Avengers Tower, The Sanctum Sanctorum, The Hellicarier, Atlantis, Wakanda, The Inhuman royal city, Knowhere and the Negative zone.

Single player

• Story Mode - The great thing about all these hero vs hero events is that there are plenty of stories to choose from for a fighting game. I'm leaning towards Civil War, it gives you two choices of registration or anti-reg and you follow the story and characters from one of those teams. This will be an alternate universe Civil War so it won't follow the 616 one completely and may end completely differently. Won't get to play every single character in this mode as that would be too long
• Missions - Tasks for each character to add to replay value and getting used to new characters. They can range from "don't let the opponent touch you" to "perform this move". Would like it to follow little stories involving the characters similar to the first Injustice's missions.
• World's greatest - Basically arcade mode. But there is also the option of random challenges each match if you want more rewards. Similar to the towers in MK9
• Tutorial - There will be one at the beginning of the story mode too.
• Practice - Of course. Make it easier for new players, have a preview option to show how a combo or move is meant to look.
• Customize - Customize characters costumes.
• Vault - the place to purchase those costumes, colours etc.

Multiplayer

• Online Multiplayer - The usual play with people around the world with there being rank matches, player matches and playing with friends online.
• Offline Multiplayer - Couch vs against friends or play against the AI.

Not much of a gamer guy, but I'd like to give this a shot.

My game would be Annihilation. Characters that the player could choose from would be: Richard Rider Nova Prime, Quasar Wendell Vaughn, Darkhawk, Cosmo, and Beta Ray Bill.

I would model this after the game, Mass Effect.

Each level would first fight 'pawns', and then have a 'boss' at the end of each level that the character would have to fight in order to advance.

Level 1: Terrax
Level 2: Skreet
Level 3: Blastaar
Level 4: Player would fight either in a spaceship, or rocketing through space fighting ships from the first annihilation wave. Surprise would be having Gladiator show up to help you in this battle.
Level 5: Annihilus would be what players believe is the final battle, and in true Mortal Kombat fashion, the game has to end with the player removing Annihilus' spine from his body.
Level 6: Unlocked level would reveal Thanos as the villain the whole time, and player could then switch between all usable characters in attempt to beat the mad Titan.
Bonus levels would have Drax the Destroyer training player how to use game controls to battle hand-to-hand, as well as a training level where the Silver Surfer would train the player how to fly and maneuver for interstellar dogfight levels.

there are some: Magneto (one in classic purple villain duds, one in the white X-Men costume), Electro, Rhino, Loki (for a given value of villain), Abomination, Ultron, Yellowjacket from the Ant-Man movie, Crossbones from Civil War, Iron Patriot (Osborne version), Dormammu, The Hood, Mordo and very rare and hard to get Thanos and Kang.
