Is this new forum only for "appreciation" threads?

So I realise the CBR forums have recently restarted, but I was wondering what the point to just having pages and pages of "appreciation" threads where people just go in and say how much they love a character, despite them only having one appearance 13 years ago.

Is there any place left on here to, you know, actually discuss X-men comics, or is this fandom culture the way forward for the boards now?

No make a thread about a topic which isn't an appreciation thread if you want or post in one of the threads lower down which isn't an appreciation thread.
