A DC Hardcover/Absolute/Omnibus forum?

Since there are new forums and an air of starting over, I suggest we try for a collected editions forum.

How nice would it be to have a Marvel omnibus thread or just a DC absolutes thread, all in the same forum? Or maybe, somewhere close to talk about those nice Dark Horse library editions.

I think now is as good a chance to ask. I have already sent an e-mail to community@comicbookresources.com in hopes that they know that there are a lot of us who want this. I think everyone who posts in one of these threads should do it.

I'd definitely like a separate forum for collected editions. Given how big the past threads of gotten I bet it'd get quite a bit of activity. It'd also open up a space for members to discuss various paperback collections without derailing the hardcover thread.

For now though, someone should start up the DC Omnibus & Absolutes thread. It's already been restarted in the Marvel forums!

Look at this thread...now look at the Marvel ones. I think people forgot DC has big books too
But yeah, we definitely need a separate forum for these kinds of things. I hate having to run through a megathread and reading countless posts on binding just to find out whether this book or that book is out of print.

I rely on the HC discussions to determine my future purchases.It's the first threads I check out.

Totally miss all the Shelfporn images as well where focus where on the HC's and not so much on the Statues.
