Diablo 3 Wizard VS Path of Exile Witch

I was pretty big on Diablo up until they decided to announce Diablo Immortal on mobile at that Blizzcon all those years ago, at which point I decided to give them the finger and left. Thank God I didn't stick around for their recent P2W crap with the same game...

Anyways.

Path of Exile seems really interesting, too and got me thinking which mage would win.

D3 characters deal damage in the billions range, and have life up to the hundreds of thousands range.

Do PoE characters reach that scale?

And lore-wise, D3 characters are Nephalem, explicitly more powerful than the top angels and hell lords/physical embodiment of the Prime Evils given their angel/demon mixed heritages.

Given that damage numbers and life numbers are abstracts with scales that don't match between games, it's probably not best for them to be used for comparative purposes. ^_^

As an example, in The Division a character is capable of dishing out over a million damage with a single shot of a real-world sniper rifle. The damage cap in old School FFVII - for example, from a gigantic beam of energy fired from orbit by Bahamut ZERO, a dragon that appears to be the size of a large island - is a whopping 9 999 damage.
