The Ritchson guy from the Reacher series would be good for this. Actually met Lee Majors at a Comicon awhile back nice guy.
And now I also want them to do an update version of the song with current actresses mentioned.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

It was a fun show with a very catchy theme song. I'm not quite sure how it would work without Lee Majors though. He had a certain down to earth swagger that made the character.
I can see Cruise being added to the lyrics when they update the title song.
That's the first thing I thought of, the title song "The Unknown Stuntman", sung by Lee Majors, was very much a sign of the time given the name drops. They have to get Gosling to sing it and use modern day actor/actress name drops in the lyrics. Should be fun.
