There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
I've always had a fondness for the duel in the 60's comedy film The Great Race. It's very much riffing on The Prisoner of Zenda.
Got to love that ending gag!
Kirk vs Gorn revisited. Apologies for it being a commercial and if its been posted before. Its funny!
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
Yeah noticed the Michael Dorn cameo there. Thanks!
Since we're all posting swordfights, wanted to post some from one of my favorite movies, the Mask of Zorro. This scene is a favorite, since it's action-packed, but so fun and swash-buckling. Antonio Banderas really cemented himself as Zorro in this:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
My absolute favorite scene from Mask of Zorro? This training scene. We see the development of the character and the building of a hero.
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Ya prickya lol.
Always liked this scene from TMNT II. It's a simple showcase of what Keno can do. With a little help from Raphael:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
The last 15 minutes of Kung Fu Hustle.
Actually the entire movie is awesome.
The Cover Contest Weekly Winners ThreadSo much winning!!
"When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." - Sinclair Lewis
“It’s your party and you can cry if you want to.” - Captain Europe
Pom Pom and Hot Hot
Most of the movie is a nonsensical silly and terrible buddy-cop comedy, and then you get this ending:
2003 TMNT series had some of the best (and pretty violent) fight scenes for a cartoon out there at the time. Some of the best featured Agent Bishop:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
In celebration of Blood Hunt #1, the club scene from Blade:
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
Fight from episode 1 of Bloodhounds:
His speed is incredible, and I've seen people who box say his form is just beautiful. I've never been a fan of western boxing style fight-scenes, but this K-drama really impressed me.
