Then if this is such an issue a conversation needs to be have with editorial, store owners and FANS.

Because when Marvel and DC have tried to use diverse characters-how much PUSHBACK do we see?
Folks looking for every single reason to NOT try or even support these books.
    Folks calling for boycotts.

Try to give them a one shot or an ongoing-SOMEBODY makes an issue of it. See Mosaic and the line of folks who threw fits about him existing. Same folks who cry about using original POC and not legacies of color.

Try to use them on a team and SOMEBODY has an issue with it. See Synch in X-Men and the nasty comments by Rogue fans. From "He's Rouge with a penis to he's destined to be Z lister and that is a stone cold fact."

Folks are asking where Synch will be in X-Men and have been TOLD by other fans SHUT UP and STOP Whining. Something NOT being said to fans of others.
Black Panther fans have been told to accept badly done books and grow up. Something NOT said to fans of others.

It's too much pushback when it comes to characters of color at BOTH companies.

Yes those Voices books are nothing more than virtual signaling. I don't care for them myself because books like those need to be SUPPLEMENTAL material for characters ACTIVE in ongoing titles.

Not a whole book of guys who are MIA for nearly 10+ years.

Fans and store owners have to understand Marvel and DC are businesses. They can NOT exclude folks of any race or religion or gender.

    Nobody else is doing that.

    The pushback has to stop.

By "pushback" do you mean "not selling"?

"The Marvel EIC Chair has a certain curse that goes along with it: it tends to drive people insane, and ultimately, out of the business altogether. It is the notorious last stop for many staffers, as once you've sat in The Big Chair, your pariah status is usually locked in." Christopher Priest

Makes the rare unapologetic bad one like the new Beetle (Janice) kinda fun.
