Oh thank you i have too much to catch up on,i read the first issue and saw that Blade was the Leader, but after that, I got caught up in other issues and everything got hazy, So Storm is not going to fight these vampires, is she?

So psyched for this. Storm is finally getting the respect she deserves from the rest of the MU. She has outgrown the X-Men for now and her place is with these other A-Listers.

Also it's safe to say that Storm is going to be one of the central figures of the X-Men in the MCU now.

yup, I've heard talks about Marvel and Janelle Speaking about her playing a role that is unknown but rumored to be Ororo, they're already looking for Writers for the X-men, I've also heard Marvel Wants Ryan Coogler to Write for the X-Men, For he has already signed on to write Black Panther 3,

OMG it's being acknowledged. There used to be a time this information was completely unknown to people, even here on CBR where so many were confused and shocked after X-Men '97. Now it's getting closer and closer to the mainstream.

I don't think it's a coincidence Storm joining the Avengers and getting her solo book is happening around the same time she's been the breakout character of X-Men '97 and all these rumors about the MCU have started. It's all tied together.

I think this is great news for Storm. If anything it definitely seems to support the idea that marvel is finally ready to take Storm seriously as an iconic character for the marvel franchise as a whole. I also think it's cool that she will be introduced in the Avengers prior to the release of her solo. Waiting for more details but this level of attention for her has me excited. I would also like to give shoutouts to Coates, Hickman, and Ewing for bringing prominence and importance back to Storm. So far it seems that Brevoort may be adding to that legacy.

it really is ,it wouldn't surprise me if they touched on her magical ancestry in 97, but i think they are pushing Storm finally so hard because there setting up for her debut, its already confirmed Secret Wars will be made and Ororo was one of the many Plucked mighty heroes forced to battle, in the classic comics, in the old spiderman show, she was always apart of it, i cant wait till her magical line becomes more mainstream
