“Do we have something to do around here other than watch a stupid porn trial? I mean, this is ridiculous,” Murkowski, a veteran of the powerful spending committee, told HuffPost on Tuesday when asked about the group of GOP officials who made the trip to downtown Manhattan this week.
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), meanwhile, poked fun at the entourage’s matching attire on Tuesday: Trump’s visitors wore dark navy suits with white shirts and red ties, an ensemble that Trump often wears himself.

“If I go to New York, I’ll make sure I wear a white shirt and a red tie,” Romney quipped on Tuesday.

He sent the bill to Congress and Congress will vote on it. It's not a done deal yet and Bide, as I pointed out before, is NOT a King.

Biden is juggling live grenades, having to decide what support to keep and what to sacrifice, so I guess he decided to hitch his wagon to the moderates. Don't blame him for that. The frustrating part of it is that the youths out there wouldn't understand that if Trump wins, he'd give Netanyahu a blank check to bomb Gaza back into the Stone Age.

Lindsey Graham literally just said Israel should do what the US did with Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

“In America, you can be anything you want,” Gomez said in the video, posted on X on Sunday. “So don’t be weak and gay. Stay fucking hard.”

In the video, Gomez is running while wearing a bulletproof vest. She is then seen in a photo holding a gun and wearing a National Rifle Association hat.
    Your Republican party, everyone.

Gomez made her prejudice against the LGBTQ community known in her February viral video in which she uses a hand torch to destroy books with queer themes—or what she calls “grooming books.”

Seriously, I am starting to think that the GOP are putting Trump on a pedestal, not because of who he is or what he says or anything rational. They are doing it in a desperate attempt to gain power and need a figurehead, any figurehead, to have a reason for some semblance of unity. Especially since they have no platform, no polices, no beliefs, nothing else to justify their existence. Not anymore.

Former Situation Room officer: Pence came ‘close’ to being killed on Jan. 6

A former Situation Room officer said former Vice President Mike Pence came “close” to being killed on Jan. 6, 2021, during the riot at the U.S. Capitol.

“It’s important to me that we don’t forget that it did come that close, and that we did have discussions, ‘If we lose the [vice president,] if the 25th [Amendment] is invoked,’” Mike Stiegler said in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that aired Tuesday on “Good Morning America,” in a clip highlighted by Mediate. “We started running through all of these game plans because it was getting close.”

Stiegler also agreed with Stephanopoulos when he referred to the Jan. 6. riot as one “of our own people” and “inspired” by Trump.

“But at the time, that’s not even in the forefront of our mind,” Stiegler continued. “It doesn’t matter how we got here. We’re here. How do we execute? How do we move forward?”

The only unity the GQP has is to Trump, the only platform the party has is enriching the wealthy and making everyone else suffer. I've never seen a cult of personality taken to these outrageous extremes like with Trump, I mean, we have politicians cosplaying as Trump while grown ass men publicly wear fucking diapers like he allegedly does. It's beyond insane. Perhaps the only example even more extreme than Trump was Germany with Adolph Hitler, and that's no hyperbole.

Yeah, we came THAT close, and to think it's not out of the question we could see round two if Trump loses again come November.

The primaries are actually not going that great for Trump:

On Tuesday in Maryland and Nebraska--where ONLY Republicans were allowed to vote in GOP primary-- nearly 20% went to polls to vote against Trump. Last week 22% of GOP voters in Indiana voted Haley and 17% in Pennsylvania.

All the major religious texts are self-contradictory. I believe people take from them what they bring to them. If a person is overly concerned with rules and their enforcement, they will take all the judgmental stuff from their religion. If they're more of a bleeding heart, they'll take all the stuff about compassion and aiding your fellow humans and universalism.

You get both groups from religion. Even the hippie dippie Buddhists are perpetrating a genocide against the Rohingya right now.

People are the problem. They don't need a book. It's just an excuse.

Majority of American's are seeing trump as more successful than Biden. Aggregate pollster, 538, has been showing trump's approval ratings higher than Biden's started on day 808 of Biden's presidency. I hope the dems are paying attention to Biden's unfavourability and have a plan for it.

Recent polls show that 55% of Americans consider Donald Trump's presidency a success, a significant increase from when he left office in January 2021.
President Joe Biden's approval ratings remain low, and Democrats are concerned about the positive retrospective assessments of Trump's time in office potentially impacting Biden's chances for re-election.

Biden's campaign is ramping up efforts to contrast his record with Trump's, particularly focusing on issues like health care, the economy, and immigration to highlight differences between the two administrations.

During Donald Trump’s four years in the White House, he was famously the only president whose job approval rating never reached 50% in Gallup Organization polls since the firm began systematically tracking that measure in the 1940s.

But now more positive retrospective assessments of Trump’s record in office are setting off warning flares for Democrats — especially as President Joe Biden’s own approval ratings remain stuck at historically low levels. In a CNN poll from April, 55% of Americans said they considered Trump’s presidency a success — a big jump from the 41% who viewed his presidency so positively when he left office in January 2021, according to a CNN survey from the time.
