    The funny thing is you would never have thought he would be considered a great actor based on that and other AIP films from that time period, but by the late '60s...

    Robert DeNiro is another diamond from Corman, BTW.

    Sorry to hear this news. I'm not OVERLY familiar with his work but I've read the stuff he did for G.I. Joe and some of the stuff on The Defenders / The New Defenders.

    It's amazing that it took him a couple of decades of solid work before he became a top supporting actor and occasionally a lead. 9 to 5 was some catalyst! I liked him in dramatic roles, but I think he really shined in comedies.
