Well, I am going to wait and see what role he plays in the story before wondering out loud why Zatanna/Phantom Stranger/Madame Xanadu/literally any other magical character in the DCU wasn't used.

I'm not the biggest King fan though I feel like through Up in the Sky he showed his tender feelings towards Supes.

Eh he's a pretty good Superman writer.

He wrote the best World's Without Justice League issue for Dark Crisis featuring Superman actually getting the chance to raise Jon into adulthood. The emotion felt in that issue was palpable.

FWIW, I love his WW book thus far and love his other Superman content. I didn’t really care for the Diana/Clark Bat-shopping issue much at all though. That issue just didn’t do it for me is all. Which is fine big picture wise.
