How far would Dune tech last In Stars Wars and Trek?
Their tech-tech wouldn't get far at all, since they have outlawed all high-end computers. They are behind even the real-world in that respect, never mind universes with droids and androids.
Their biotech is far beyond Star Trek, though, as Star Trek outlawed high-end genetic engineering.
Star Wars is kind of a mixed bag. Star Wars doesn't technically have much biotech other than cloning, but it has a naturally occuring mutation, force-talent, that is superior to anything even the most powerful products of spice-enhanced, dune-eugenics has produced.
dune does have a version of space folding, with is a lot faster than hyperspace or warp travel. so that's something.
The basis is true, but if you read the rest of the series, Spice could probably be grown elsewhere if you take a desert world and sacrifice most of the planet to the task. They DON'T do this in Dune, but that's because the Empire civilization doesn't understand the worms' life cycle at all.

Discovery is the only ship with it, although there are other warp techniques which seem to be catching up. In PRODIGY they actually create a real Dauntless which can get to at least part of the Delta Quadrant, along with of course Protostar's own proto-warp which can also cross formerly hard-to-reach quadrants.

The reason Duneverse uses Guild Navigators is because of the Butlerian proscription. Trek would take the specefold tech and devise a computerized navcom system.
