Not gaps, because I don't like torture porn or silly ghost movies. But I have never seen any Saw movies or Conjuring movies. No Purge movies either.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

While I got talked into seeing the 1st film of both of these franchises I never saw any other films in the franchises.

Harry Potter saw the 1st none of the other films and saw none pf the Fantastic Beast Movies.

Saw the1st Lord of the Rings movie but not the sequels and saw none of the Hobbit Movies.

Have scene clips of the LOTR films and Harry Potter movies but nothing has ever made me want to see the movies.

For some reason I've seen all the other planet of the apes movies except Battle For. (The finale to the original series).

Haven't seen the TV shows (Live action or animated) either.

I'm a big fan of Doctor Who but have yet to see the entirety of Sarah Jane Adventures or Class.

Same with Star Wars, everything but the holiday special. I've seen every film in theaters (re-releases for the originals of course!) but skipped the Clone Wars pilot film, although I eventually got to it on home media. Was a bit late catching up to some other shows too, have yet to watch "resistance" although I've read it's hardly CW or Rebels in quality.

Bond fan but have never watched the TV or spoof versions of Casino Royale. Also have only seen the first Austin Powers.

Indiana Jones fan but really haven't bothered with the TV show despite references to it being put into the last two movies.

Fan of Gundam but have yet to watch Victory Gundam or Gundam X, although that's mainly because they have yet to have a proper streaming release.

Game of Thrones - I want to but its a lot to catch up on now
Justified - I will watch one day
The Shield - I'll probably never watch despite a friends insistence. Cop shows aren't my draw. I watch Blue Bloods cause the wife loves Selleck and Whalberg.
The Wire - same as above
Breaking Bad - also probably never watch, another friend says this is more like Trailerpark Drug Kingpin than cop show
Orange is the New Black - maybe but again not an entertainment go to for me.
Supernatural - another one in my wheelhouse I just never made time for it, I love Buffy/Angel/X-Files
Stargate Atlantis and SG:Universe spinoff shows - I actually bought the DVD sets after I finished SG-1, I then got married and they sit there still
Monk - maybe one day, it has quirkiness and I like that
    Suits - probably never

I've seen various episodes of things like Sopranos, House, Good Doctor, The Rookie, Goldbergs, a few Law and Orders or CSI/NCIS's along with a Modern Family but I'm never prone to making these must watch, must complete it all viewing. I actively avoid "reality" shows, that is bottom of the barrel, under the barrel viewing 99.5% of the time I've accidently let something role to the next show. Worst 5 min I usually ever see any week.

The Shield and especially Breaking Bad are not "cop shows". The latter being one of the best shows in the history of television.

The Shield doesn't refer to a police officers badge? Sell me on it, what is it about?
I know Breaking Bad isn't a cop show, just figure cops are heavily involved in a show about meth dealers in a trailer parks. Sell me.

I haven't seen a lot of these too.

Every year, more movies get made. And more and more content is made with all the streaming services and cable channels producing original movies. I guess any concept of a pop culture "canon" is disappearing. A bit sad. It does provide some cultural cohesion.

Yeah, The Shield is only technically a cop show. It's about dirty cops.

I've never watched The Sopranos or Game of Thrones. Aside from a random episode here and there, I've never watched Friends.

I've never watched any of the Fast and the Furious movies.

The only thing I've ever watched with Kevin Spacey in it is Se7en and I'm happy keeping it that way

where are you getting trailer park from? Breaking Bad is not in a trailer park. It's about a suburban school teacher's descent into villainy as he builds a meth empire. It is methodical, intricate, complex, with a variety of settings and themes, and most of all it is very intelligent. Cops are not as "heavily involved" as you may think. I don't think there is a trailer park in even one episode.

The original lab is in a trailer. And it is featured in promotions. Probably why the association was made.

Walter's brother-in-law is DEA but Walt manages to elude him thanks to corruption in the DEA (Gus's misdirection, mainly, although Hank begins to suspect Gus is not on the level eventually), Walt being extremely lucky, Saul's tricks, or just plain Hank not seeing right under his nose etc.

He also-although there are other factors-is partly responsible in part for the whole situation in the first place.

Well while we're on the subject, I never got past the first season of BCS. I didn't hate it at all it just didn't pull me in like Breaking Bad and I already had a big backlog.
