My longstanding idea for a fix would be that Magneto's DNA was used in the High Evolutionary's modifications to the Maximoff twins and therefore, they're still genetically connected to him even if they're not "truly" his offspring. As for the subject of whether or not Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are still considered mutants by the general in-universe public, that once again goes to the absurdity of mutants being singled out for hate and fear, since barring an X-gene detector, how would people honestly tell the difference between them and any other superpowered being, human or otherwise, in the Marvel Universe?
Eh, makes some sense. Human nature can be contradictory.

In the Jim Crow era, some African American performers avoided racism by pretending to be some India or elsewhere. Racism isn't always "Eww, Asian? Tentacle porn freaks!", it's also "Asian, cool? You know math and martial arts, right?"

True enough, though even "positive" stereotypes of other races can be deeply problematic if that's all they're seen as, instead of appreciated for the fullness of their character.

Here's the cover for Blood Hunt #4 and a variant by Kael Ngu

Marvel didn't reveal these in the solicits a couple months ago. They were keeping these under wraps for obvious reasons lol

Interesting that the cover for #4 is essentially the end of issue 1

Now that the twist is out they don't need to hide Blade's true role in this.

Great covers seeing all the villains posing together.

The villains exude creepiness. Very well-designed.

I actually like her as a character and how marvel has kept both of them kinda separate so far so that you haven't had to stifle one for the other to grow, especially given that there are still so many stories to tell about Blade in the comics.

Indeed, and this makes sense, at least.

I'm glad it didn't turn into a thing where they downplay Blade for his daughter.

Yeah I'm impressed by the restraint they've shown with Bloodline.

She didn't even appear in Blade's ongoing which was kept squarely as his adventure and he even has a female sidekick there that isn't his daughter who was constructed specifically for the story of that run.

Or make him a deadbeat father or anything. Like his absence was explained clearly and they seemed to form a bond extremely quickly.

I'm curious about the role Brielle is playing here though. If they need her body as another daywalker for possession or something similar.

Which is exactly the deal of vampires in the Marvel Universe? Are they humans with a weird disease, like Marvel Zombies, or a new species, like mutants? Is there a difference between "boss" vampires like Dracula and the average guy that the horde of vampires bite and turn into a vampire? Are they magical or biological?

There's multiple kinds of vampires, but most of them -- and specifically the ones starring in this event -- are magical.
