He did get a solo mini (even if the entire team appeared at some point).

Oh, so she was actually a person who wanted to emulate the Titans but kind of got a bit too obsessed (and frankly dumb) about it.

I just love the "you should have a lawyer read this" and she goes "NO WAY" like there's enthusiasm and then there's being an idiot .

Also just the idea that she was going out of her way to fight crime as a teenager with no training or abilities...well, I guess Red Canary is the same.

Its a very brutal subversion of the classic hero origin story. A lot of origins is just the character bumbling through life and accidentally falling into an opportunity for greatness.

Here the character is actively seeking out said opportunity but it means she's choosing to fall into the first hole she sees and unlike Question or Bronze Tiger that hole is going to be the end of her.

By pretty titans, you mean the ones who don’t get Solo book opportunities like he does very frequently despite them being commercial failures. He’s in a really interesting position . Because I’d say he is THE most recognizable black hero from DC but not because he is popular. He is the equivalent of Louis from the band one direction

Honestly red canary makes it look like anyone can just do it and with no powers required as she been giving the blessing to stand next to pros and veterans with the most intense training imaginable

Although to be fair reading the actual stuff with her in it you get the sense she's barely scraping by as a vigilante and mostly just has some hand-to-hand training and enthusiasm going for her.

So a day one jubilee but worse. And I’ve read her stuff it isn’t much. It’s actually pretty irresponsible for Dinah to have encouraged this, but it if she didn’t then it would have made Damian right and he was suppose to be a jerk that issue. They had an opportunity to giver her powers but changed their mind. Mabey they can pair her with Connor a lot like how they did Duke with Cass to expedite his training

Yeah Dinah and the Arrows should really take her under their wing.

At least giving her training would make her more prepared to handle vigilante stuff especially under someone's supervision.

Yeah, Wally won't be back in Titans until at least September - and that's assuming the issue of Flash solicited for August is the last of the current arc.

What data do you have that they were anymore failures than the ones Raven, Red Arrow, Garth, Beast Boy and Starfire got?

Those 5 did more than be background in Justice League.
Those 5 at different times have been the center of a story line in book unlike Vic.
Those 5 did not get put in the hands of a crappy editor who did NOTHING but run off writers from both of Cyborg and Static's books.

Folks who read his books didn't have issues with them. Their main complaint was where were these books at the start of New 52.

For all the crap about it's his time-we didn't see it. Unlike with Punchline, Ghost Maker, Clown Killer and others who got covers, one shots, annuals, ongoings, variant covers and more stuff than Cyborg.

UNLIKE comic book Cyborg-the Cyborgs of tv tend to be better developed and interesting. They do no cry over their Daddy not loving them or getting blown up or ripped to shreds by T'Challa's cousin.

The point being made was so many wanted Vic back with the Titans and OUT of JLA. At the some said that because what little use Vic got was mainly from the Titans era more than the JLA. Where claims by the folks in charge it was Cyborg's time and he did nothing.
Only member who didn't get a book at the start of New 52.
Only member who did very little in that book.
The issue now is he's back with them and what is he doing? All he did was change from doing nothing on one team for doing the same on another.

Sorry he is popular and while the writers post 1990 (and David Walker & Sempter Jr) act like they can't do a thing with Vic beyond him crying about his Daddy and being a freak among the beautiful white and alien folks and Garth.

We can thank the creatives of television-who view Vic as more than that and put an effort into making him interesting in Teen Titans Go, Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, Smallville and even Superfriends. Along with writers like Kami Garcia and others who do the same thing in the OGN, novels and kids books that include him.
