I loved the Spider-Girl series as much as the next person, but I do think the series got a little less interesting as it went on. Frankly, as much as I enjoyed that series, I'd much prefer to have Baby May reintroduced into modern continuity along with the marriage to MJ.

Unrealistic as it is, I've never completely given up hope on 616 Mayday returning - which would pretty much have to be part of an undoing of the Mephisto bargain.
I'd love a Mayday series but I'm excited for her inclusion in Spider Society. Is that an ongoing?
It does seem nuts that Marvel isn't doing a Mayday solo series given the popularity of the Spider Verse. She's more well known now than ever.

Marvel is too busy trying to make Spider-Gwen happen. I agree that Mayday should get a mini at least.

Fair, but where did it fall off for you?

I'm not exactly sure. Between the cancellation of Slingers and the Byrne era leaving a bad taste in my mouth, I decided to quit comics altogether back then -- and even Spider-Girl couldn't keep me buying at that time. I think it was because, originally, Spider-Girl was very much interested in continuing some of the Clone Saga storylines; and once those essentially finished, the series didn't quite interest me as much. I want to say it was around issue 50 that I felt it losing steam.

Of course, we eventually got introduced to April; and I thought that reinvigorated the series a little.
