I wouldn't say confident... but they double-teased her via Morph and then teased her again via Forge's wall of candidates. I'd say both Illyana and Colossus have a good chance at being on the substitute X-Men team in season 2.

Well, Illyana's voice actress on the show is Courtenay Taylor ( who also voiced Callisto). She and Colossus will 100% show up in Season 2.

She is 100% showing up but how big her role will be is up in the air.

I just want to see her origin story in limbo at least briefly. They need to do something about it since she actually showed up in the original series in little-girl Illyana mode so having her just show up 10 years older wouldn't really work.

in X-men 97 I didn't like Morph becoming her in the Cartoon. Id rather have a proper origin involving Illana Colossus Sym and Nastrich. And Limbo. Last we saw her she eas a luttle girl and it involved Darkstsr and Omega Red

Hello Magik/Illyana thread. I'm currently binge watching X-Men 97 and just wanted to pop in and geek out for a second.

spoilers:

Magik had a cameo of sorts in the Goblin Queen episode when Morph turned into her! I screamed at my screen when I saw her. New Mutants version of Magik with her soulsword. I have dreamed of animated Magik for so long. She was in the original X-Men series as a kid with Colossus, but now the show gave me a sneak peek at what Yana can be like animated, and she became Darkchylde too! Does this confirm she's currently a New Mutant right now in 97?
