Really emphasizing how important being an acrobat and being able to leap are for Nightwing.

Oh yeah, this is Taylor's final arc, huh?

Nightwing can't leap, right? So what is this in the latest issue?

Redondo is back, that's the good news. It wasn't a good start to the last arc.

I thought it was ok. It did what a set up issue does imo. And moved some of the pieces into place. What didnt you like if you dont mind answering im curious what others think?

    spoilers:
Almost hard to believe we're in the final arc of Taylor's run.

The opening pages do a great job of placing emphasis on how important Dick's acrobatics and ability to soar to the sky is to him on a physical and emotional level.

Taylor, we don't always need cute kids or threatening cute kids to establish emotional investment/stakes. I'm not saying he always does it, but I feel like he's done it a lot in this run.

I guess it comes with the job that sometimes you have to stop people committing crimes not because they're evil but because they're that desperate. I'm sure Dick will do some kind of altruistic act to help those kind of people by the end of this and 98% clean up the city.

Babs in that dress. That is all.

"So they feel less like soulless monsters" - Jeez Taylor, you really don't like the rich. Although Babs is blue-collar so I can kind of see that.

Heartless attacking Dick on both fronts as both Dick and Nightwing. At least he's finally making a move and stuff is happening.
    end of spoilers

I really liked it. It's the first time I thought that Heartless was in control, and that scene with the kids was kinda dark.

Overall, it's a set-up issue. Even though I wish it had a little more meat to it, I would trade the scene of Dick going after the thief for the beginning of Heartless's attack, but I get why it was there.

Also, Redondo's art... what more is there to say? I will surely miss his work on this book.

Safe to say that the next creative team will have a lot to live up to.
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans

Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nș8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.
