There are many who'd agree with that statement...

It is widely speculated that he'll do Absolute Flash and I thought that those are going to be ongoings?

this is also true yeah. The whole reason for Nightwing was to not be Superman.

The new stories must be good if leaks are circulating the way manga do

Probably easier do do a relatively standalone Elseworlds than a main continuity book.

I'd say my issue with it is I find it a lazy way to move the plot forward.

Like out of nowhere he suddenly has his own mind guy and it just gives him all the answers. Feels rather contrived even with the whole "Batfam members are crazy prepared" excuse.

Because he learns from Bruce’s mistakes. He’s a clearer version of what Batman should be. That makes people call him Batman lite but then again I wish the the Fail safe arc was lighter and wrapped a year ago. But Dick using anything in Bruce’s arsenal isn’t strange. It’s been confirmed he’s the one trusted most, since he can deactivate all equipment and resources Batman has.

It was never said that it works better; he just mentioned that it was not another personality and that he hasn't gone full Batman. I don't know why you took it as a jab at Bruce.
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans

Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nș8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.

His first Rebirth arc was literally called "Better than Batman," though sometimes the way Taylor does it feels mean-spirited to me.

I think that was the jab, in my opinion, even if it wasn't intended harshly as one.

To me it just feels a kinda underwhelming.

Bruce messes up with something, and then Taylor writers Dick doing a similar but getting it better with little problem. It feels too easy and feels like its just there to randomly go "Dick does it better" so there's not really much weight to it.

At this point it is not that difficult to do something better than Batman.
