The silver age flash did have travellers from the future like the parents of Iris West so it seems that the tv show was inspired by those time travellers. I hope cw Flash will lead to a cw Justice League show. The Smallville JL used to have Clark Kent, Martian Manhunter, Impulse, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Zatanna, Cyborg, etc. Unfortunately, they had to put the smallville Hawkman in the jsa following the pre-flashpoint comic books. Smallville comic books have used batman, wonder woman, lanterns, and red tornado. Smallville also used the Legion. I hope Cw flash can be used to launch a 21st century vril dox legion too.
