This is awesome, right? I'm sure someone will come along shortly to tell us how great this is.[/QUOTE]
That is nuts on so many levels.

Well according to the internet women are nothing but meat incubators, if they fail at the one and only job they have or can ever have they should be put to death or something something.
The world is a sewer.

So to clarify.
Women is pregnant.
Other woman argues with said pregnant women
Other Woman pulls a gun and shoots women in stomach.
Baby dies because it was shot.
Pregnant women is now under "Manslaughter" because her baby died.
Women who shot her is fine.
Is this right ?

What next? Are they going to arrest women who never have had children?

Wait. What? Jesus H. Christ, are you kidding me? No, I take that question back, that ruling came down in Alabama which is as backward a state as there is in the Union.

Regarding tonight's session with Biden, Bernie, Harris, Mayor Pete and the rest, I wonder if the moderators will ask the same questions that were posed last night?

Yes, that's right. Because the pregnant woman 'started it'.

Hopefully we can get another “what about all the people who are afraid of you taking your guns”

Y'all are trying to apply logic in a place it doesn't exist.
The entire thing is yet another blatant example of Mets' pals placing the value of ideology over the actual lives of black people. In this case it's pushing the idea of unborn personhood and gun ownership.
If that child had lived however, and grown to be lets say a sixteen year old kid walking home, then him "starting it" would have no bearing because someone else could have started it and later decided that they were scared, shot him, and then tried to auction off the weapon following a string of other acts of intimidation.
You know, as one does.

I think Booker had a very good night, along with Warren and Castro.
-
And the Supreme Court rejected any limitations on gerrymandering. This should be the news story of the day. Democrats need to win at every fucking level now
-
Warren is in an awkward position because she was the expected winner. The best she can do is not disappoint and she absolutely didn't. That's why I think Castro is getting so much praise.

That seems to be the consensus, as far as I can tell.

This is why people need to vote for Democrats at every level. (Even though I don't really want to vote for Biden, I will if I have to.)

With how partisan the judiciary has become, I'm not necessarily mad at the ruling on gerrymandering. We don't need federal judges ruling on whether or not a state was drawn up fairly, we need independent bodies to draw up the districts and not state legislators. The ruling did not say that gerrymandering was okay, but that there wasn't a strong enough definition in order for Federal judges to rule on it effectively. I mean, I certainly wouldn't want a Kavanaugh or Bork type voting on whether or not a state is fairly drawn.
