LOL, this whole thing started because characters can say or think anything the writer wants them to, no matter what they've said in the past, and most casual readers will buy into it completely.
Like Rogue in "Children's Crusade" was the X-Man who forgave Wanda and told her that Cyclops would come around eventually. Next time they meet in "Uncanny Avengers" Rogue hates her so much she literally kills her. Then she changes her mind and makes speeches about how awesome Wanda is.
When/if Wanda pops up in X-Men a bunch of mutants who never said boo about her in the past will suddenly decide they like or hate her.
they will all probably hate her as they should
-
She showed up in Strange Academy, and she's getting her own Disney+ show; she's going to be doing SOMETHING sooner or later.
-
Because he dislikes the Avengers but loves X-Men.
To use her in the Avengers he'd have had to care about the core Avengers characters and Avengers lore, which he did not.
Using her as Mutant Enemy #1 is something he can get behind.
What a sensible man.
Both Avengers and X-Men do fine sales wise. Wanda just needs her own stories, or back on the main team. Her popularity these days are from the films. That's it.
I mean the main Avengers book is currently selling less then the least popular, failed, cancelled XBook but everything is relative.

It goes up and down but it's been at good sales for a while and definitely not near cancellation. I think people are just bored of Aaron's team at the moment.

No, Wanda's the Silver Age Princess type of character like Sue and Jean - passive powers that never require her to look ugly or throw a punch, seemingly all men want her - with a little more of an "exotic" edge owing to her being European and (technically) a villain at first.
She's Eurotrash Jean.

When Wanda was on there, there was plenty of different personalities. So she being serious wasn't a big deal. Because that was when both She-Hulk and Hawkeye were funny characters.

She's not Eurotrash. Please be careful calling a Romani character that.

Point taken, I'll stop. Though I was thinking more in terms of the insult used for rich snobbish Europeans, but she's not rich either anyway.
