Yeah.
Seeing as how this is the Poly Appreciation Thread for these characters, I'd rather focus on reasons why these unions could happen rather than not.
Speaking of, Logan's been alive for a looong time.
Are we thinking he's never been with another man?
For realsies?
Subtext...or bad scrpting and art direction?
It really seem intended. Someone get the panel of Wolverine needlessly shirtless while tending to a shirtless Scott's wounds.

I'm even throwing in the previous panel as a bonus.
Aahh!!
So ...yes to bad scripting, poor art direction AND thirsty readers...that's a toxic combination if ever there was one.
The only thirsty person I see here is you.
This is an appreciation thread - are you sure you're ready to post here?
I don't particularly care either about the logistics/visuals. It's just that leaving such things to the imagination usually diminishes the weight of whatever statement (assuming there's a genuine one to begin with) is being made. The whining will be freakin' unbearable if this thing fizzles/backfires on its own..
You keep returning to this 'backfiring' to the point that I honestly can't make heads or tails over how you feel or what you want me to say, among other arguments. I really don't know if Hickman intends for us to think the guys and gals are having queer dalliances. I think it's entirely possible, but unlikely to portrayed in print, though I'd be all for it. As a gay fan though, I don't think it necessarily detracts from telling a polyamory story about three longtime/unrequited couples if none of them go bi during it, though. YMMV. I find the polyamory an innovative, interesting and legitimate story angle regardless.

I do agree it wouldn't detract from telling ANY polyamory story. That being said, we're talking about a pair of dudebros Marvel itself tried to pimp as the new Magneto/Xavier. Kind of a totally different ballpark.

Magneto and xavier have always been very gay. We've had an entire movieverse abt their love story.

My point exactly. If Hickman is serious about revolutionizing mutant sexuality, there's three elephants in the room he must address in some capacity:
1. Charles/Erik
2. Charles/Erik 2.0 aka Logan/Scott (Edit: accidental byproduct of #1, but still)
3. Kitty Pryde/every-woman-with-a-pulse-ever

Id put Storm above all of these.
Xavier and Magneto seem pretty coupley rn but it dont generate as much conversation bc Xavier in fans collective mind is the opposite of sexy.

Yeah, especially in House of X, they have been acting like a long term couple in a very intense relationship.

Nah, nobody's going to rage quit over Storm being bi.

I was objecting to Storm's ranking, not the presence of homoerotic subtext.
Storm's up there for sure, but Kitty's in a class of her own.
